More than One Tournament
Competing in Rockets Series events will score you points that are ranked throughout the season. These points can NOT be obtained at weekly tournaments, only 1K’s that are in the Rockets Series circuit. Here’s how points are awarded:
- a win +3 Points
- a draw +1 Point
- a flat +3 Bonus Points to all players who make it to the Top 8 of each individual tournament.
- additional +5 Bonus Points to 1st place (so you better play those games out)
Playmat PrestigePlaymats have now been elevated to a more distinguished role. Starting this season, they will be exclusively awarded to only the Top 16 players on the Rockets Series Leaderboard. Prove your mettle & secure your spot on that Leaderboard for a chance to get your hands on one of these awesome playmats (sneak peeks coming soon)!
The Road to The Rockets Series Championships And now for the biggest change that we hinted at above – The Top 16 players on the 23-24 Leaderboard will earn their rightful place in the new prestigious Rockets Series Championships, a finale event set to take place on March 23rd. The Rockets Series Championships will be played out with not one but TWO formats! 3 rounds of Modern, 2 Rounds of Standard, (alternating) and then back to Modern after a cut to Top 8 where the Finals will be concluded with a Best of 5 match! 
The Championships will be playing for an impressive $3,000 CASH prize pool, and each Top 16 competitor in the Rockets Series Championships will also receive a special commemorative playmat as a token of appreciation for their dedication and skill! The winner of this event will be the overall 23-24 Rockets Series Champion, which will earn them a 1st Place trophy, a custom token of themselves, a custom playmat of the token art, and of course a place in the Rockets Hall of Fame beside past Champions! 
At the end of the series the top 16 will win the following:
- 1st – $750
- 2nd – $500
- 3rd-4th– $300
- 5th-8th – $150
- 9th-16th – $70
The winner will also receive:
- Their name on the Rockets Series Trophy
- A custom token of themselves to be awarded as the next season’s participation prize
- A custom playmat of themselves
