Here at TC’s Rockets, we are obsessed with games. We carry everything from classic playing cards to Rubiks Cubes to Catan . . . and everything in between. 

The easiest way to find out if we have something in the store is to go ahead and give us a call! We try to keep some of the most popular games in stock, as well as some classics that bring back childhood memories. If we are not currently carrying a board game or if it is out of stock, we will do our best to get it ordered for you!

Board Games

Apples to Apples 

Rewind back to 1999, the year Apples to Apples was named “Party Game of the Year” in the December issue of Games magazine. Fast forward back to today, and over 20 years later, Apples to Apples is one of the most well-known card games. This party game is designed for children 12 and up and can be played with anywhere from 4 – 10 players. The popularity of this game led to other similar card-matching/answer-judging party games. 

Axis & Allies

Loved by history buffs everywhere, Axis & Allies is a series of World War strategic board games. This family of games brings you to the frontlines in some of the most memorable, talked-about battles in US history. Some of the games include Axis & Allies 1914, Axis & Allies Europe 1940, Axis & Allies Pacific 2014, Axis & Allies Anniversary, Axis & Allies D-Day, and so many more. This series of war games are played by navigating around the board, rolling dice, and working with others in a team-based effort.

Catan

Catan may be our best-selling board game here at TC’s Rockets. This strategy and negotiation game was first released in 1995, under the name The Settlers of Catan or Settlers. Each player takes on the role of a settler and attempts to build their own settlement, acquiring various resources while trading with other settlers. The base game of Catan is perfect for the gameplay of 3 – 4 players. An expansion allows for up to six players to participate, with a few new rules. Our stock often includes the base game, all the expansions, as well as Star Trek Catan and Catan Jr.!

Eldritch Horror

This unique problem-solving game was originally introduced in 2013. A cooperative game, all players work together to fight an ancient evil stirring from its slumber before it’s too late. This tabletop strategy, board game allows players to explore locales around the world, battling monsters and solving various mysteries. Split into three sections, the action phase, the encounter phase, and the mythos phase, be prepared for hours of engaging fun.

Monopoly

The ultimate negotiation game, Monopoly, is currently published by Hasbro. Upon their turn, each player will roll two six-sided dice as they navigate around the board game, buying property or paying rent to another player. Monopoly is derived from The Landlord’s Game, created in 1903 as a way to demonstrate that an economy that rewards wealth creation is better than one in which monopolists work under constraints. The game is named after the economic concept of monopoly: when the market is controlled by a single entity.

Star Wars Outer Rim

Explore the Star Wars galaxy yourself or with your friends! This one to four-player game is part of the Fantasy Flight Games collection. In Outer Rim players take on the roles of various outlaws, on the edge of society who set out to make something of themselves. Travel the Outer Rim as you navigate a spacescape ridden with bounty hunters, mercenaries, and smugglers. Hire legendary Star Wars characters to join your crew as you travel in your own personal ship. Track your adventure and be sure to share your legacy!
