Crisis Protocol is Marvel’s newest mini-game. The game was originally released with a core set, several character sets, and scenery set as well. All of your favorite Marvel characters are a part of the game both heroes and villains, all the big characters have a role. Each character shines and is interesting in their own way as if they were still the center of their own solo series, yet when added to a team they work together and support each other in various ways. This game also allows players to explore the universe in which it is set, giving them ample amounts of freedom to mesh their stories together. This universe is set on an interactive tabletop with terrain that is thrown, crashed into, and destroyed.
This tabletop hobby miniatures game takes place in the Marvel Universe, so naturally, some of the big names have to be involved. Similar to other miniatures games, each player collects very detailed miniatures of iconic Marvel characters and has the opportunity to assemble and paint them! Cyclops is Scott Summers, the very first member of the mutant team the X-Men. His mutant powers allow him to produce uncontrollable beams of optic force from his eyes. He wears ruby lenses to help protect the other X-Men from his harmful gaze. He never stops fighting for equality between mutants and humankind.
Ororo Munroe is Stone, who is a descendent of a long line of witch priestesses. She is the goddess of the storm, a mutant with the ultimate ability to control the weather for a while. After encountering Professor Xavier by chance, Munroe joined the X-Men.
Vision was an android originally created with a goal in mind: to destroy the Avengers. Consequently, he turned against his creator and joined. His power: he is able to change his density, allowing him to phase through solid objects and adjust his strength. He synthesizes energy from his surroundings and utilizes it in highly destructive energy blasts.
James Buchanan Barnes or some may know him as Bucky, fought in World War 2 with Captain America until he died on a mission. Fast forward a few years and he emerged but as a brainwashed Russian agent, the Winter Soldier. Luckily he ran into Captain America who was able to help him shake the programming and regain his independence.
Peter Quill dreamt of exploring space his how life. On one of his first trips off-world, he met a celestial being and chose to venture out on his own as Star-Lord. He is an expert marksman who leads the Guardians of the Galaxy against the threats of space.
